Founded in 2005, this public charity has reached over 300,000 people through its grants of instruments to music education programs. These grant recipients, which give more people the opportunity to make music, include school music classrooms and community-based organizations. Founded in 1979, the Arizona Memorial Museum Association (AMMA) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the protection, development, preservation, education and interpretation at the USS Arizona Memorial and affiliated Pacific area historic parks. AMMA is a "Cooperating Association" designated to work with the National Park Service in support of three National Park units in the Pacific: the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, the Kalaupapa National Historical Park on Molokai, Hawaii, the War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Guam and its related site at the American Memorial Park in Saipan.
The Aquatic Capital of America Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed in 2008 to promote the myriad of aquatic activities offered in Long Beach, California; to recognize, honor and support the City of Long Beach and its aquatic athletes, coaches, and organizations; and to promote water safety and education.
