Rachels Gift

At Rachel’s Gift Inc. we partner with hospitals to assist parents through the initial phase of infant loss through a base of caring and knowledgeable volunteers. We provide grief assistance for the families as well as a training program for nursing professionals and care-givers on companioning patients through infant loss. Our ultimate goal is to provide a healthy environment to begin the grieving process to minimize long-term psychological damage to individuals and their families experiencing infant loss while at the same time providing lifetime keepsakes of their child. These keepsakes will be a lifetime reminder and a physical connection to the child that was only in their arms a matter of minutes or hours.

Imagine A Center For Coping With Loss

Imagine supports children and families coping with loss and fosters resiliency and emotional well-being for all those who grieve. We do this by providing education and free year-round peer grief support for children age 3-18 and young adults 18-30 who are coping with loss due to the death of a parent or sibling or who have a family member living with a life-altering physical illness. Concurrent support groups are available for parents and guardians in both programs. In the area of education and outreach, we provide on-site bereavement and crisis support and educational workshops and presentations for businesses, corporations, schools, and community agencies.

IOCDF was founded by OCD sufferers in 1986,and is an international not-for-profit organization made up of people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, as well as their families, friends, professionals and others. The mission and goals of the IOCDF are to: Educate the public and professionals about OCD in order to raise awareness and improve the quality of treatment provided; Support research into the cause of, and effective treatments for, OCD and related disorders; Improve access to resources for those with OCD and their families; Advocate and lobby for the OCD community. OCD NH is proud to carry out the mission of IOCDF through programs at the local, community level.
