Kiran, Inc. is a multi-cultural, non-religious, community based, South Asian organization. We cooperate and collaborate with organizations in the USA and elsewhere with similar objectives. Countries in South Asia include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Though there are differences in language, customs, and religions across these countries, these regions share many basic cultural and historical similarities.

Founded in 1973, The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) is the only rape crisis center in the Greater Boston area and the oldest and largest center in Massachusetts. Our mission is to end sexual violence through healing and social change.

In providing these services we aim to assure that the immediate and long term physical and emotional needs of the survivor are met, survivors are treated with dignity and respect, and they are given accurate legal and medical information.

Valley Haven is a Non-Profit Emergency Children's Shelter, located in Harlingen, Texas, for the children that have been removed from their home by Child Protective Services due to abuse and neglect.Children ages 0-17 years of age, male and female, from not only our surrounding counties, but the state of Texas as well, will temporarily reside at Valley Haven until appropriate placement has been located.At Valley Haven, our goal is to stop the cycle of abuse so abused children can heal and not pass on to their children the abuse they received from their parents.By showing and teaching appropriate ways to trust and love each other, the children at Valley Haven will feel safe, begin to heal, and look at their future in a positive way. Our children deserve the chance to grow into loving, caring, and happy adults.Valley Haven's mission is to protect, guide, and nurture abused and neglected children by providing them a safe and loving home!

We will strengthen our ability to meet the individual and evolving needs of those affected by domestic violence by investing in the growth of our people, deepening community engagement, and amplifying the voices of all survivors.

Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996 by Vednita Carter. Every year, Breaking Free helps over 500 women escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education. Our main offices are located in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a branch in Minneapolis. Breaking Free's doors are open to women throughout Minnesota and the United States.
