JOIN

Founded in July 1992, JOIN works with homeless individuals and families who are sleeping on the street and not already engaged with another service provider. Homeless individuals working with JOIN envisioned a facility providing expanded basic services and outreach to homeless individuals within the context of a holistic response that also promotes individual dignity. This has evolved into an innovative and highly successful housing placement effort based on a "Housing First" approach.

New Door Ventures

New Door Ventures helps at-risk youth get ready for work and life through jobs, skill-building and supportive community. We serve youth, ages 16-21, overcoming histories of incarceration, homelessness, substance abuse, and poverty. We provide the real jobs and deep support that enable youth to identify goals, learn healthy behaviors, and become contributing members of society. New Door invests with the goal that 80%+ of its graduates will go on to further education and/or mainstream jobs.

Goodwill Southern California

Transforming lives through the power of work, Goodwill Southern California (GSC) serves people with disabilities or other vocational challenges, as well as businesses, by providing education, training, work experience and job placement services. Each year, GSC prepares and places thousands of individuals into sustainable employment through programs and services offered at three campuses, a Communiy Enrichment Center, eight Career Resource Centers, three WorkSource Centers, seven Youth and two Veteran Employment Programs throughout Los Angeles (north of Rosecrans Ave.), Riverside and San Bernardino counties. GSC supports its mission of “Transforming lives through the Power of Work” with proceeds generated from 79 retail stores and 44 attended donation centers.
