Our worship services are both spiritual and learning experiences. We offer an outstanding educational program for both children and adults. Our extensive art and cultural programs are highlighted by the annual Lois G. Levine Arts Weekend and Shabbat Shirah. We have adult and youth retreats, various age-complementary youth groups, an active Sisterhood and Men’s Club, and a vital seniors group. We hold a monthly, original “Healing Service,” promote an accomplished social action program, and offer strong support for Israel and world Jewry. We are constantly searching for new ideas and programs that will deepen our entire community’s commitment to Judaism and the Jewish people.

Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is the nation's largest private Holocaust memorial and museum, and New York City's premiere Holocaust resource. The core exhibit is organized around three basic themes: Jewish Life a Century Ago, The War Against the Jews, and Jewish Renewal. The 2,000 photographs, 800 historical and cultural artifacts, and 24 original documentary films in the Museum's core exhibition represent just a small portion of the approximately 15,000 objects and 3,600 oral histories in the Museum's collection. Visitors, especially those with no immediate association with Judaism or the Holocaust, are prompted to make personal connections to the culture and history of others while reflecting upon their own roles in society in new ways.
Universal Chan is a donation-based international 501(c)(3) Buddhist non-profit organization derived from the Chinese Chan Tradition, founded by the Chan Monk Da Xing. Compared to China and other Asian countries where Buddhism is a prevalent religion, the US has only been exposed to Buddhism for less than a century. The goal of the organization and of its affiliations is to spread the Chan Teachings to deeply benefit those interested in learning the teachings of the Buddha. In doing this, we use a modern approach rooted in ancient tradition to expose people to other aspects of ancient Chinese culture connected to this teaching. We hope numerous people will come to learn how to apply this teaching in order to achieve a more satisfying life and find liberation in any situation.
