The purpose of this organization is to foster the growth and fuller expression of Jewish life in our community by: Nurturing Jewish culture, heritage and family life. Providing intellectual stimulation and ongoing Jewish education. Integrating Jewish law and ritual into modern life. Seeking spiritual and religious experiences. Developing a sense of community by working together while acknowledging and encouraging our diversity. Welcoming and inviting non-Jewish partners. Meeting social, recreational and human needs of people in all life stages. Developing commitment to extended Jewish community and Israel. Developing Jewish social conscience as a stimulus to social and political action. Developing positive relations with the general community. Providing and maintaining facilities and programs to accomplish these aims.

One thing our church is passionate about is doing good for others, without any type of faith expectation in return. Dhyanyoga Centers is dedicated to providing opportunities and access to the spiritual practice of Kundalini Maha Yoga, as taught by Shri Dhyanyogi and Shri Anandi Ma, to any interested person regardless of background or belief for their personal spiritual development and realization. To support and promote spiritual practices in groups for world peace. To render humanitarian service to the local and world community.

On the foundation of love for all mankind, Chabad is committed to enhance the spiritual and physical well-being of all people regardless of affiliation or commitment, wherever he or she may be, with understanding and with love.

Our objective is to reach out to the homeless, run away youth of the inner city and the low income community.  Our program is structured to incorporate the meeting of physical and emotional needs of the youth and hurting people we seek out on the street.  For their physical needs we provide nutrition, food, hygiene and emergency shelter.  Referrals are also given if we are unable to house such individuals.    Partnering with this we provide personal counseling to address the root cause of their problems.  We help hurting individuals using drugs or alcohol to a more positive direction such as reconciliation with their families or inter a rehabilitation program or emergency shelter.  Counseling is also applied to help ensure successful completion of a drug or alcohol program.
