Petaluma Animal Services Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit, with an emphasis on no-kill, high outcome sheltering in our service areas. Petaluma Animal Shelter handles all animal control and adoption services for the city of Petaluma and animal control services for the city of Healdsburg. We take in lost domestic animals and owner surrendered pets and handle all dog licenses for dogs within Petaluma and Healdsburg city limits. We provide hope and homes to animals in need–and excellent service to our customers.

Founded in 2001, Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) No-Kill animal rescue dedicated to the memory of all animals who were caged, hunted, beaten, tortured, starved, chained, exploited, abandoned or simply ignored. Our mission is to find a permanent, loving home for each cat and kitten in our care, and to reduce the overpopulation of cats in the community, through an aggressive trap-neuter-return program. Second Chance Pet Adoptions educates the public as to the proper care and needs of their pets, provides information on existing animal cruelty and abandonment laws, and informs the public of the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. We also provide a service to the community by providing pet adoptions designed to benefit both the animal and the adopting party. We ensure the animals under our protection are taken care of in the best way possible. Our adoption process includes a veterinary health check for the animal and screening of the prospective owner, to help ensure that the pet and its new owner will be compatible. If for any reason they are not compatible, we take back the pet, who will again be offered for adoption. Second Chance Pet Adoptions is a 100% volunteer organization. We do not receive any government assistance and rely solely on donations to provide services for the animals in our care.

Adopt a Golden Knoxville is a volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to finding warm, loving permanent homes for Golden Retrievers in order to prevent them from becoming strays or adding to the shelter overpopulation. Our focus is on assisting owners that can no longer care for their Golden due to unfortunate financial or other personal circumstances. Golden Retrievers, regardless of medical needs or age, will receive comprehensive evaluation, spay/neutering services, veterinary care, behavioral training if required, and safe passage into a permanent loving home. In addition to providing those services, Adopt a Golden Knoxville is intent on educating and assisting the metropolitan Knoxville and East Tennessee general public, and dog owners specifically, regarding issues such as responsible pet ownership, spay/neutering, obedience training, and veterinary/specialists referrals. Our goal is to reduce the number of Golden Retrievers sent to shelters.

Rescue and protect abused farm animals. Educate the public on Factory Farms and the inhumane treatment of farm animals. Educate the public on the extreme impact of factory farming on the environment. Educate the public on the health benefits of eating a plant-based diet.

PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE FOR DOGS RESCUED FROM ANIMAL SHELTERS, ABUSE AND ABADONMENT. TRANSPORT RESCUED DOGS TO AWAITING FAMILIES

Taysia Blue Rescue strives to save lives by keeping Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes out of shelters. We provide them with medical attention, socialization, exercise, food and a safe place to live with volunteer foster families until we can find them forever homes.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization. Our mission is to rescue roadside dogs and cats, spay/neuter, medically and emotionally treat, then place them in loving, forever homes. We also work hard to raise awareness about pet issues such as nutrition, proper vaccination schedules and the importance of spay/neuter, foster, volunteering, adopting and donating to help our city and surrounding area shelters save as many lives as possible.

Friends of Austin Animal Center seeks to bridge the gap between budgeted funds and animal needs at Austin Animal Center. We work to save the neediest and highest at-risk animals at the shelter by sponsoring a set of volunteer-run programs that work to remove barriers to adoption. We also work to improve the quality of life for the animals and the staff who take care of them by raising funds for capital improvements to the shelter. Our ultimate goal is to help the shelter ensure that every healthy or treatable animal has the best possible opportunity to find their forever home
