The Rescue Hose and Ladder Company Fire Department is a small, fully volunteer company. The fire department handles approximately 300 calls year.

Fairview Fire and Rescue is dedicated to the preservation of life and property. Life is irreplaceable and will always be their priority over all duties and tasks. They will act in a professional manner treating all with dignity and respect in all phases of life with all that they do. They will provide care and comfort to those in need, and in their training improve their skills to reduce the loss of life and property. They shall maintain a welcome relationship with those in their community and surrounding areas.

Whatever the circumstance, incidents involving a lost person are a wrenching experience for the family involved. Often the entire community shares in their anxiety through the coverage of the news media. At such times, public authorities need to organize a search using all available resources appropriate to the situation and location. Such resources traditionally include foot searchers, air scent or tracking dogs, and aircraft. The TrotSAR Mounted Search & Rescue Team offers search authorities an additional and unique resource: a team of trained, highly skilled, and credentialed first responders mounted on horseback. All team members and their mounts have successfully passed state and local performance standards that have been mandated for Mounted Search and Rescue (MSAR) first responder resources.

The ACSAR Team is a 100% volunteer organization that is on call to assist the police and fire departments when they search for missing persons in an urban or wilderness situation.

To search for the missing, treat the injured, rescue those in peril, and provide training and education, in support of — and in collaboration with — public safety agencies and other outdoor interest groups in the Mid-Atlantic wilderness.

EOS International is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers rural families in Central America with access to safe drinking water and opportunities to generate income through simple technology solutions and education.

Manheim Township Fire Rescue will provide the highest level of emergency services, which include fire protection; rescue services; emergency medical services; emergency management; and public education and fire prevention to protect the lives and property of the residents, businesses, and guests of their communities.

They are here to assist any local, state, or federal agency in the search for lost or missing persons. This includes missing children, elderly walk-a-ways, suicidal persons and many other types of searches.

Great Lakes Search and; Rescue K-9, Inc. is a non- profit, volunteer organization providing specially trained dogs to assist law enforcement agencies in locating missing persons, drown victims, evidence recovery, and natural disasters.

Our purpose is to end poverty in neglected communities by working hand-in-hand with local residents to implement sustainable change solutions that change lives forever.

TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS FOR THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS AND FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES FOR THE BLUE ROCK REGIONAL FIRE DISTRICT. THE DISTRICT INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 50 SQUARE MILES INCLUDING MILLERSVILLE BOROUGH AND MANOR TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.

Search for Lost Persons— Southeast Pennsylvania Search and Rescue’s (SEPASAR) primary mission is to locate lost persons and provide such first aid as may be necessary to those located. This mission is accomplished by dispatching mounted search personnel to the scene and under the direction of a search operations and or search planning ICS function search areas designated consistent with rider and horse safety.
