The East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department (ERCVFD) has been proudly serving our community since 1983. We cover approximately 85 square miles of beautiful East Roane County with surrounding Counties for mutual aid along 12 miles of interstate.

PROVIDE FUNDS AND MATERIALS FOR FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS FOR GIRLS IN DEVELOPING NATIONS TO PREVENT DISRUPTIONS IN SCHOOL ATTENDANCE AND TO ASSIST IN DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS IN DEVELOPING NATIONS AND OHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES. PROVIDE FUNDING FOR ADVENTIST LEARNING CENTER IN BEIRUT FOR REFUGEE CHILDREN.

Governor Beshear has established the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the tornados and the severe weather system on December 11, 2021. Donations will be regranted to the state of Kentucky and specified for use by their tornado relief fund.

Keep Kids Fire Safe® Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to teaching fire safety knowledge and skills to children and their caregivers based on current  fire safety research. Through our programs, safety materials, and strategic partnerships, the Keep Kids Fire Safe® Foundation aims to help reduce fire-related deaths, injuries, and property losses.

COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION EFFORTS IN A REMOTE VILLAGE IN AKOT, SOUTH SUDAN AND NORTHERN UGANDA. THESE INCLUDE: PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION, WOMEN'S BIBLE AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING, PASTOR AND CHURCH DEVELOPMENT AND AGRICULTURAL TRAINING.

In partnership with the local church, Okoa Refuge exists to glorify Christ through stabilizing the family unit and transforming entire communities through healthcare, childcare, church planting, bible training, skill training for the disabled, relationships, and humanitarian outreach.

Books for Development addresses the book famine that prevents children and adults in many developing countries from learning to read. We do this by building library collections since we believe that the best contribution you can make to people’s development is to promote their literacy. As a non-profit, we take donated books, use volunteers to sort them and then ship them to poor countries to create libraries. We leverage our efforts--using free labor and donated books that might otherwise be dumped in a land fill. Books for Development was formerly known as Good Steward Global Initiative.

The Foundation for the Children of the Californias is a tri-national collaboration with Canada, the United States, and Mexico, endeavoring to improve the health and nutrition for the children of the mega-region of San Diego and Baja California through the operation of Hospital Infantil de las Californias, a model pediatric specialty medical and education complex, located one half mile into Baja California, Mexico
