At Hollis Montessori School, our mission is to prepare children for life. The school opened its doors in September 2008 on Proctor Hill Road in Hollis, New Hampshire as an independent, non-profit, nonsectarian Montessori school. Initially offering Primary and Elementary programs, the Upper School program launched in 2011, completing the vision to offer the complete arc of Montessori education from age 3 through ninth grade. In 2012, the school purchased 9 acres on South Merrimack Road in Hollis and built a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient 14,000 square foot facility. At the heart of our school is the philosophy of Maria Montessori, whose educational method has proven successful for more than a century in tens of thousands of schools around the world. Our volunteer Board of Directors provides oversight for the school. Our faculty members are highly-trained and share a passion for creating a love of learning and honoring the values of respect, independence, and creativity. Our school is accredited by Association Montessori International. The AMI credential is recognized by Montessori professionals around the world. We are the only AMI Montessori school in New Hampshire.
