The Tisch MS Research Center of New York is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to finding the cause and a cure for MS by conducting groundbreaking medical research to accelerate the pace at which research discoveries translate from lab bench to bedside. A Disorder of the Corpus Callosum (DCC) is a congenital brain disorder in which the main superhighway of the brain is damaged or missing. Because diagnosis is only possible through neuroimaging (MRI, CT Scan, etc) those with a DCC are often misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed. The NODCC exists to support those affected by a DCC and to educate and advocate regarding DCC so that the painful years of misdiagnosis can be avoided for future families.
