Delaware County Women Against Rape (DCWAR) is a private non-profit agency located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The agency was founded in 1974. Its primary mission is to provide comprehensive direct services to victims of rape and other sexual assaults who live in the county, or who may have been victimized in the county. Direct services are also provided to significant persons in the victim’s life. In July 2001, the agency also began to provide direct services to victims of other serious crimes through its Crime Victim Services (CVS) department. All victim services are free and confidential.

HAVEN, formerly known as A Safe Place and SASS officially merged in July of 2015 becoming the largest violence prevention and support services agency in NH. HAVEN is dedicated to addressing public health through violence prevention and improving the well-being of children and families. Preventing sexual abuse and providing support for those impacted by domestic and sexual violence can lead to healthier and more secure children and adults. To model to our rescued girls in Peru what a happy and healthy family is like. To provide for them love - in addition to the emotional, psychological, and physical security that they did not have before arriving to us. To provide for them a good education so that they can become agents of change for their society, culture, and world. Most importantly: We serve to be an expression of God’s heart towards the children He gives us. His heart is expressed very well in Psalm 68, verses 5 and 6 – “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…” We consider it a privilege to be used of Him to provide a family for the children and youth that He has placed into our hands.
