Catholic Relief Services carries out the commitment of the Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas. As part of the universal mission of the Catholic Church, we work with local, national and international Catholic institutions and structures, as well as other organizations, to assist people on the basis of need, not creed, race or nationality.

Our mission is to protect endangered turtles through supporting turtle nesting beaches, cleaning up plastic waste, reducing the tortoiseshell trade, promoting equity in the sea turtle community, and educational programs.

The mission of United Help Ukraine (UHU) is to provide the people of Ukraine with critical support that will enable them to survive in the face of adversity, to defend and regain their sovereign territory, and to rebuild and thrive well into the future. UHU is committed to maximizing the impact of charitable contributions by providing humanitarian, medical and psychological assistance to those affected by the war. We also focus on raising awareness and advocating for Ukraine to remain a free, democratic and independent nation.

Through core programs of disaster relief, medical care, hunger relief, and clean water, OB is dedicated to alleviating human need and suffering in the United States and around the world. Since 1978, Operation Blessing has touched the lives of millions of people in more than 90 countries and territories, including the U.S.

Alight exists to walk alongside those who – by sheer circumstance – find themselves on the long and arduous journey of displacement. Each year Alight serves 3.5 million people in over 20 countries who have been displaced by climate, conflict, and social and economic exclusion. Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by matching medical supplies and modern equipment with facilities in need to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Project C.U.R.E. operates distribution centers in Colorado, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona and receives donations of supplies and specialized equipment from hundreds of U.S. hospitals and medical manufacturers. Thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved facilities abroad to provide free care and train local healthcare staff. Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities across the globe, touching the lives of patients, families and children in 130 countries.

From crisis to self sufficiency.

Heifer International's mission is to end hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth using gifts of livestock, seeds, trees and training in sustainable agriculture community development projects to help millions of people become self-reliant. Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform the lives of more than 18.5 million families (94.5 million people) by giving them gifts of cows, goats and other livestock. Along with the animals, families receive training in animal care and conservation for environmentally sound agricultural development. We also provide training in community development, gender equity, sharing and caring, strategic planning and other subjects as needed, including literacy. The process takes several years and is not declared successful until the community shows sustained improvement in nutrition, income and self-reliance. Each family that receives an animal agrees to Pass on the Gift by sharing the first-born female offspring of their animal with another family in need, so each gift of livestock starts a chain of self-reliance that spreads throughout  entire communities.

Founded in 1892, the Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.  The Denver Rescue Mission exists to meet people at their physical and spiritual points of need.  It is our aim to return the poor, needy and homeless to society as self-sufficient, productive community members.  We do this through meals, shelter, food and clothing distribution, education, medical care, Christian counseling, case management, work discipline, transitional housing programs, and assistance for permanent housing. Programs The Lawrence Street Shelter is the Mission's most recognizable location.  Many refer to it simply as "Jesus Saves," because of the neon Jesus Saves sign that adorns the corner of the building.  This facility shelters up to 200 men nightly, 300 in inclement weather.  Emergency care is provided through meals, shelter, food boxes and clothing distribution.  Our clinic is also located here and provides medical care mainly for program residents. Champa House is a long-term New Life rehabilitation program in a residential setting, offering help toward self-sufficiency to single mothers and their dependent children. Harvest Farm, located in Wellington, Colorado (near Fort Collins), is a rural New Life rehabilitation program for men.  Harvest Farm is a fully operating farm and ranch with food and clothing distribution, youth camps, and a fall festival with a corn maze. The Crossing offers a long-term New Life rehabilitation program for men; transitional housing for homeless families, single men and women, and New Life Program graduates; and temporary housing for interns and visitors.  Many of our offices for our program staff are also located at The Crossing. Ministry Outreach Center is home to our administrative offices and central warehouse.  We distribute clothing, food boxes, household goods, and furniture from this location. Family Services provides transitional housing, assistance for permanent housing, and mentoring for homeless working families, single men and women, seniors, and refugee families. Global Ministry Outreach offers consultation, resources and support to city and rescue missions around the world.

UNRWA USA National Committee (UNRWA USA) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support for the humanitarian work of UNRWA though advocacy, fundraising, and education. UNRWA USA aims to educate the general American public about the situation of Palestinian refugees and generate support for UNRWA's education, health, and social service programs in all five of its geographical fields of operation.
