Habitat for Humanity of Calhoun County {HFHCC} is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry committed to building affordable houses in partnership with God's people in need. It welcomes all persons who wish to support its efforts to eliminate substandard housing- one house at a time-with new construction. It is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.

Gabriel Network empowers a committed network of Christian churches to “adopt” pregnant mothers and families in need by providing practical, emotional and spiritual support through pregnancy and beyond. It realizes this mission through three programs: a help line, church-based ministry, and housing ministry.

The Habitat mission is a hand-up, not a hand-out, and since 1978 the Trident Habitat affiliates have partnered in helping a combined 817 families to purchase affordable homes so that they might realize their dreams of home ownership and the many benefits that in turn follow.
