The mission of Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research is to provide professional, compassionate rehabilitation to native injured and orphaned wild birds and contaminated wildlife, and to promote their stewardship through education and humane research.

The North American Bluebird Society is a non-profit education, conservation and research organization that promotes the recovery of bluebirds and other native cavity-nesting bird species in North America.

Rikki's Refuge is an independent, all species, no-kill sanctuary located on over 330 acres of land in Orange, Virginia. Most of this land, which includes streams and beaver ponds, is set aside as a protected area for native Virginia plants and wildlife. The remaining acreage is used to house and care for companion and farm animals who have been abandoned or displaced. From the very beginning, Rikki's Refuge has accepted animals into the sanctuary without discriminating against age, health condition, breed, adoptability, or any of the other labels that often warrant a death sentence. All are welcome to live a comfortable life at the refuge.

Carolina Raptor Center ignites imaginations and inspires engagement in the natural world through the exploration and rehabilitation of birds of prey.

The American Wildlife Refuge provides the necessary care to rehabilitate injured raptors and release them back into the wild. For birds that are unreleasable, we provide refuge facilities and are networked with other rehabbers and organizations to place birds.We also provide educational shows and presentations to the public. Private shows and presentations for educational or youth groups are available for a nominal fee, and can be tailored to your curriculum. All proceeds from shows and any and all donations are spent entirely on the care and feeding of the birds and the maintaining of the refuge organization. No salaries or fees are paid to the volunteers.

The World Parrot Trust is an international leader in science-based, results-oriented parrot conservation and welfare efforts. Our mission: - Restore and protect populations of wild parrots and their native habitats. - Promote awareness of the threats to all parrots - End the trade in wild-caught parrots and where possible, return parrots to the wild - Educate parrot caregivers and the general public about the care and well-being of companion parrots

Penguins International is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and protecting penguins around the world. To accomplish this mission, we actively engage in penguin conservation, we educate the public on threats to penguins, and we conduct scientific research investigations to understand penguin biology and best methods for conservation, three activities that go hand-in-hand to fully understand these amazing species of birds and protect them for all to cherish. Houston Audubon's mission is to advance the conservation of birds and positively impact their supporting environments. This is accomplished in three main ways: habitat protection and restoration, conservation advocacy and environmental education. Houston Audubon envisions the creation of a healthier, natural environment and more beautiful place to live by leading and nurturing a community which values and supports birds. Houston Audubon owns and manages 17 bird sanctuaries in five counties totaling 3,445 acres, including the internationally known High Island and Bolivar Flats sanctuaries. Houston Audubon is a regional provider of education and conservation programs throughout an 11-county service area including Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, Washington and Wharton counties. Houston Audubon is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization and is supported by member dues and donations from individuals, foundations and corporations.

NABA is dedicated to the conservation of wild butterflies and their habitats. Butterflies are wildlife, and should be valued and protected as such. As pollinators they are critical to our shared environment, and as indicator species they give us early warning of environmental peril. Butterflies are a key link in the food chain. Butterflies are also wondrous and magical in a way that singularly captures our imaginations and connects people with nature and each other. NABA envisions a future where wild butterflies thrive in healthy habitats, none are threatened or endangered, and all people can enjoy observing them in nature.

The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation is an international nonprofit organization that protects the natural world through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. As a science-based organization, it both conducts its own research and relies upon the most up-to-date information to guide its conservation work. Key program areas are: pollinator conservation, endangered species conservation, and reducing pesticide use and impacts. In 2018, Xerces Society took over the operations of Bee City USA.
